Strategy
At the table, not on a slide.
Our people sit on boards and give their time and expertise pro bono to businesses and non-profits with real social impact.

Socially United backs the organizations that improve people's quality of life, anywhere in the world. Three ways in: strategy at the board table, custom-built operations software with no subscription and unlimited seats, and the capital to keep the lights on.

Socially United is a sustainable resources organization that supports efforts worldwide which improve people's quality of life. We work through three processes: Strategy, where our people serve as active board members and give pro bono expertise to businesses and non-profits with social impact; Operations and Software Development, where we build the automations, CRMs and communications that run the place; and Finances, where we open affiliate discounts on key resources such as food, raw materials and human capital, and where non-profits can apply for funding that keeps a well-run operation at 100%. We are paid for that work, not to get rich, but to hold a standard unpaid help cannot hold and to keep the support coming year after year.
Three ways in
At the table, not on a slide.
Our people sit on boards and give their time and expertise pro bono to businesses and non-profits with real social impact.
Go deeper→The engine itself.
Automations, CRMs, and communications. We build the operational systems that let a small team run like a large one, without adding headcount.
Go deeper→Buying power, and money that keeps the lights on.
Non-profit affiliate discounts on key resources, plus funding for well-run operations that need capital to run at 100%.
Go deeper→Four questions. Roughly forty seconds.
Tell us who you are and what is stalling. We will point you at the right door and send the resources that match, instead of a brochure.
That is logged.
We read every one of these. You will hear from a person, not an autoresponder.
Thousands of organizations, worldwide.
Funders, partners and other organizations all ask the same question: who is good, and where. The register holds thousands of organizations worldwide, searchable by region, country and sector, and free to use. Most entries are public record, listed as found and not reviewed by us. The ones a person here has actually checked carry a Vetted mark, and the ones we have worked with are marked as clients.
Most entries come from public records. Anyone can also put an organization forward, including their own. No fee, no membership.
Public record entries are labelled as such. Nothing is called Vetted unless a person here has reviewed it.
We look at governance, delivery, finances and continuity. How it is run, not how it presents.
Listings are re-checked. An organization that stops running well loses its mark.
Human capital, pooled.
People submit what they are good at, at every level from board-ready to no experience yet. We qualify, categorise and hold that expertise in one register, then put it to work: on the boards and projects we support directly, and inside the organizations that subscribe to us.
Board-level finance and a retired logistics manager who knows how to move a pallet are both scarce in the places we work.
Hours a month, remote or on the ground, one project or ongoing. You are never auto-assigned to anything.
We check the fit before your name reaches an organization, so you are not fielding requests that waste your time.
Your contact details are never public. Organizations see skills and availability, and reach you only through us.
Filter by skill, seniority, language, location and availability. See who exists before you write a job description.
Pro bono contributors, specialist advisors, interim operators and board candidates, in one place.
You raise a request, we make the introduction. No cold outreach, no scraping, no bidding.
Access to the register comes with a Socially United subscription, alongside affiliate pricing and operational support.
Work and reach
Events and programs Socially United has produced and disseminated, with the institutions behind them. Twelve years of production, distribution, and delivery across development finance, global health, and government.
A full session carried live from first frame to last at broadcast standard. Two hours, one continuous feed, no cut in service.
Full-length production and dissemination for a World Bank program. Multi-camera capture, live direction, and global distribution.
A near five-hour convening carried end to end. Agenda, panels, and audience, produced and distributed without a cut in service.
Where we concentrate
The businesses a neighbourhood cannot function without. Food, essentials, and the local commerce that holds a place together.
Mission-driven operations with proven delivery and a funding gap between them and full strength.
Learning that scales past a single classroom, a single campus, or a single country.
Health knowledge that keeps working after the grant cycle ends and the visiting team goes home.
How we are funded
Senior people, on the work, accountable for the result. Not a rotating cast of spare hours.
Support that is still there in year three, when the launch excitement is long gone and the work is hardest.
Board service and strategic counsel are contributed. Being paid elsewhere is exactly what makes that possible.
Terms are set by size and need. A clinic with four staff is not quoted like a national program.
How an engagement starts
A board seat that needs filling, an operation held together by one person, or a budget that does not reach the end of the year.
We look at how the place is run, what it delivers, and where the gap actually is. Honest answer, quickly, including when it is no.
Strategy, systems, buying power, funding, or all four. One relationship instead of four vendors.
We complement operations that already work. Support does not end at handover.
Questions
No. Socially United runs on sustainable resources: we are paid for the work we do. That is deliberate. It lets us fund pro bono strategy work, hold board seats without a grant cycle dictating our attention, and keep supporting organizations through the years when funding is thin.
Three things. Strategy: our people serve as active board members and contribute expertise pro bono. Operations and Software Development: we build automations, CRMs and communications systems. Finances: we open non-profit affiliate discounts on key resources such as food, raw materials and human capital, and we fund well-run non-profits that need capital to operate at full strength.
Yes, and deliberately. We are paid for operations, software, production and subscriptions. Not to get rich, but to hold a standard that unpaid work cannot hold and to still be here in year three. Being paid is what keeps senior people on the work and what lets us give board service and strategy away for free.
Non-profit organizations apply, and we qualify them. We support and complement operations that are already well run and need money to keep the lights on and run at 100%. We are looking for operating discipline and delivered impact, not a perfect grant application.
A free, worldwide register of organizations that are actually run well, organised by region, country and sector. Anyone can nominate an organization, including their own. We review each nomination against governance, delivery, finances and continuity before it is listed, and we re-check listings over time.
A register of volunteers and experts who have told us what they are good at and how much time they have. We qualify every submission, then make that expertise available to the organizations we support and to subscribing organizations. Contact details are never shown to organizations, and introductions are always made through us.
We concentrate on indispensable retail, non-profit organizations, educational platforms, and sustainable health education. Beyond that, the qualification is social impact, not sector or tax status.
Board service and strategic expertise are contributed pro bono. Operations, software development, production and subscriptions are paid engagements, and that revenue is what makes the pro bono work possible.
Worldwide. We have supported development finance institutions, United Nations agencies, global health organizations, and national, state and city governments, alongside local organizations serving a single community.
This site is published in English, Spanish and French. Our work spans regions well beyond those three languages, and we bring translation capability from the Talent Network when a program needs it.
It is the standard we hold. Most organizations do not fail because the mission was wrong. They fail because the engine stopped: the systems broke, the board went quiet, or the operating money ran out. We keep the engine running.
Because strategy, operations and money are the same problem wearing three coats. An organization should not have to assemble a board advisor, a software vendor, a procurement consultant and a funder, and then translate between them. That is one relationship here.
We keep good organizations running at 100%. Four questions and we will point you at the right door.
